We’ve all come to know and love #JohnWitherspoon “Pops” from his roles Friday, Wayan’s Brothers and the voice of Grandad on Boondocks. So, it is with deep regret that we inform our readers of his passing. John was a Detroit native comedian and actor born January 27, 1942. Details of his death have not been released but the family did make a statement on that Tuesday October 29, 2019 Pops died suddenly in his home.
