Cincy Culture Clash Weekend

If I’m frankly honestly, there has been countless times where I’ve heard others say things like “Cincinnati is boring.” Or “Ain’t nothing to do in Cincinnati, it’s so small.”

If you’re honest with yourself, I think we’ve all jumped on the bandwagon a time or two and repeated the very same thing. If nobody else will admit it, I’ll admit it for you! I’ve been more than guilty...

I want to go on record and say that’s really not true! There are plenty things to do, you just have to change your mindset and sometimes change the circle around you. Cincinnati is a really beautiful city! We have a beautiful skyline, historic homes, landmarks, and some great resturants! In the summer time, we have some amazing events that are happening around the city!

One experience I've really enjoyed this summer are the concerts in the park, and eating at some of the local restaurants in the city. Speaking of concerts, Cincy Culture Clash will be hosting a whole musical concert series this weekend starting Friday July 25th in the heartbeat of Cincinnati, downtown on Fountain Square.

Cincy Culture Clash is definitely eliminating the excuse of having nothing to do, all weekend long. So grab your beaux, your best friends, your family or whoever you want and come out and enjoy what the culture of Cincy has to offer you this weekend.

We're kicking off Friday night, July 23rd at 6pm-11pm with some Afro Vybez and a live performance from SamLef. You will hear sounds of african music all night, so you can put on something comfortable and just dance the night away and get in tune with a whole different culture.

Starting at 6pm you will experience sounds from DJ Queen Celine.

DJ J Crush will be following up at 7:30 pm

Starting around 9:00pm we'll hear from DJ Tizieb along with the feature Michael Osadolo.

Closing us out with a live performance at 10:00pm will be the artist Samklef himself.

If you're not much of a night owl, Cincy Culture Clash will also be hosting a day party that gives you enough time to sleep in after working a long week. The Day Party Drip Show starts Saturday, July 24th at 12:30 pm to 8:30pm with a variety of performances and sounds for local DJ's.

DJs like DJ J Dough, J Vaughn, Dj Apryl Reign, ChocQ. T, DJ Savage and DJ Fresh.

Sunday will be the perfect night for all my locals who love Jesus and Trap music too! You can close out your weekend by still honoring your faith and spirituality by getting down with the New Age Gospel Explosion.

Sunday, July 25th starting around 1:00pm you will have access to the event and concessions all day! You definitely don't want to miss the live performance from one of the dopest Christian Hip Hop Underground legends Canton Jones, alongside; Naquia Chante, Dj Klassy K, Dj Arie, Scott Simms and Dj Dors-E. Another great benefit of this musical series is that these events are free to the public! I also want to give a shout out to the event sponsors; Fifth Third Bank, 3CDC, Fifth & Vine Live and Group Hum Entertainment.
